Eclipse Magnetics has launched its brand-new website, featuring a user-friendly design and a host of exciting new features.
The new-look site has been designed to offer an improved user experience, with its cleaner design and simplified site structure providing an attractive and easy-to-use platform.
With its wealth of product-specific landing pages, along with the new product filters, useful case studies, and a showcase of the company’s industry experience, the aim of the redesign was to modernise and improve the customer journey through its digital channels.
Introducing a new live chat function, a handy resource guide and its very own video channel, Eclipse TV, the site offers an informative and educational base for businesses looking to excel by investing in magnetic technology.

Eclipse Magnetic’s sister company, Eclipse Tools North America have now joined Eclipse Magnetics on the same platform, creating consistency across the brands, with plans to roll out its customer Extranet and Chinese, French and German versions of the website already underway.
Bowers Group is delighted to announce Martin Hawkins has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director of Bowers Group from the 1st March 2021. Working closely alongside the current Managing Director Steve White, Martin will begin a transitional period before Steve White steps down from his full-time duties in May 2021.
Martin joined Bowers Group in 2016 as UK Sales Manager before being promoted to UK Sales Director in 2019, and brings with him a wealth of experience and success within the company, as well as vast product knowledge and existing relationships within the company as part of the senior management team.
Starting his career as a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, prior to moving into production and then into sales, Martin has most recently operated in senior roles in the engineering sector with companies such as Perceptron and Hexagon Metrology.

As part of it’s expanding range of world-renowned hand tools, Eclipse Professional Tools has recently added Wormdrive Hose Clips to its existing range of work-holding and clamping solutions. These tool box essentials are designed to secure a hose over a fitting by clamping down to prevent the fluid in the hose from leaking.
Eclipse Wormdrive Hose Clips are manufactured to the highest of standards from the finest materials and they undergo rigorous testing in accordance with British Standard BS5315:1991. They are also Kitemark certified, KM 722229, to give total assurance of their quality and performance.
Quality testing includes a Torque Test to ensure that all products have low free-turning torque whilst maintaining high destructive torque. Corrosion Resistance testing in a salt spray chamber and Hydraulic Pressure Testing to ensure the clips can seal tightly and function correctly under high pressure. W1 Mild Steel and W4 304 Stainless Steel options are available and both are offered in a variety of sizes.
The W1 Mild Steel Hose Clips are made from the finest cold rolled mild steel with zinc plated surface treatment for a degree of corrosion resistance. They are fully serrated with a bright silver, plated finish and Trivalent Chromate plating (Cr3) for ROHS compliance.
They are ideal for general purpose usage in automotive, agriculture, hardware and DIY, construction, gardening and many other applications where medium corrosion resistance is required.
The W4 304 Stainless Steel Hose Clips are manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel (Austentic grade 18% Chromium / 8% Nickel) for a high degree of corrosion resistance. They have a bright silver, plated finish and are partially serrated. The Stainless Steel Hose Clips are suitable for Industrial and Construction, selected Marine and Oil and Gas applications where high corrosion resistance is required.
Smaller sizes come in 5 and 10 piece boxes and the larger sizes are packaged in plastic bags. A handy merchandiser is available for display at point of sale and may be used on counter tops or hanging from existing tool bars.

Paul Kitchen has joined the Eclipse team as a Technical Sales Engineer in the Foreign Body Removal area. With over 25 years of powder processing experience , Paul will significantly strengthen both our customer, technical and application knowledge base.
Ian Prince (right) – Account Manager – MMA
Ian Prince has joined the Magnetic Materials and Assemblies team as Account Manager. Ian will be responsible for the sales growth of the magnets and magnetic tools product range primarily through export distribution channels but also having some UK related responsibilities. Ian has a wealth of experience working closely with both end-users and distribution partners globally.
Duncan Haley (left) – Sales Engineer – Filtrations
To complete the recruitment drive, Duncan Haley has joined the Filtration team as Sales Engineer. Duncan will be responsible for sales of magnetic filters in the UK, including the development of a distribution networks. Duncan will also provide for some export sales projects when required. Duncan has a wealth of experience in the precision machining sector.
